What does the term "trust" mean??? Well, according to Merriam-Webster, the definition of the word is down below...there were a couple of definitions, but this is the true meaning....

The reason why I decided to blog on the word trust is because of something I kinda realized when I was walking home last night. I had a crazed out train of thought and came to realize something I should have done a long time ago, learn how to trust myself and other people as well. Unfortunately, people have done shit to me in the past that made me not wanna trust them or people in general and also I have this fear of trust within me. For some reason, I don't know. I tend to feel that way at times...Am I wrong for feeling that way or not? Trust is not only a noun, or a verb, but it's an action that one can't take lightly. Once someone violates that word, that relationship is forever severed, never to be repaired ever again. Trust is something that is earned, not given. As for me, I never seem to find anyone, not even friends, family or significant others that deserves my trust. Am I wrong for feelin that way? Well, thats all I have to say right now.. It is SO hard for someone to gain my complete and utter trust. Friends, guys...whoever, it takes time. Some people are just more naturally trusting than others I believe. Obviously me and you are not one of those people. I don't see it as a bad thing, unless you see it hindering relationships that you would like to pursue.

trust needs to be earned! And once earned it needs to be taken seriously or else you are not worthy! that's my opinion... thanks for visitin...

But yea, ya know, there's definitely MANY ways to define trust, but I like your description. Trust is something that is earned. I seem to have the opposite problem though, at times I think I trust to quickly which in turn causes me to get hurt in the long run really bad. Have fun in NYC girl!
